Job DescriptionJob DescriptionConcrete Form Setter – Construct Precision Structural Forms for Advanced Concrete ProjectsJob OverviewCompany: Pierson Concrete Construction Co.Salary/Pay Rate: $23 to $33 per hour.Location: Loveland, CO (Travel Required).Job/Employment Type: Full Time.Mandatory Licences & Certifications: None Required.The OpportunityYou will serve as a critical field expert, constructing and installing the vital structural forms that anchor our commercial and high-end residential projects. This specialist role gives you the autonomy to direct forming crews, interpret complex structural blueprints, and utilize precise grading equipment. You will play a leading role in maintaining our reputation for technical excellence while mentoring the next generation of trade professionals.How You Will Make an ImpactConstruct, erect, and install durable concrete forms and fixtures using a variety of wood, plywood, and specialized hand and power tools.Set string lines, accurately establish caisson elevations, and direct other form setters on proper framing and rebar tying workflows.Interpret complex dimensions on project blueprints and rebar shop drawings to ensure absolute structural precision before every pour.Calibrate and set laser levels to establish proper grades, ensuring exact measurements are passed down to secondary form setters.Evaluate caisson size, depth, and penetration parameters to verify that foundation structures comply fully with engineering specifications.Conduct regular mentoring and on-the-job training for less experienced crew members to foster professional growth and teamwork.Oversee the safe erection of scaffolding, placement of braces, and structural tear-outs while strictly enforcing jobsite safety rules.Required Qualifications & ExperienceProven field experience operating as a Level 1 and Level 2 Foundation Form Setter, or equivalent structural concrete experience.Demonstrated ability to set laser lines, manage grade elevations, and direct field teams without direct supervision.Strong technical capability to read and interpret detailed structural blueprints and rebar shop drawings.Advanced trade math skills, including an accurate working knowledge of slope, pitch, and foundation percentages.Physical capacity to perform strenuous labor, lift up to 100 lbs, and work reliably in all regional weather conditions.Flexibility to travel to various out-of-town project locations during the week or on weekends as required.Must possess and maintain a complete set of personal hand and power tools required for professional form setting.Preferred Qualifications & ExperiencePrior experience managing complex caisson installations and deep foundation formwork systems.Formal experience in peer-to-peer field instruction or safety mentoring within a commercial concrete environment.Advanced knowledge of specialized carpentry and custom form fabrication for high-end real estate builds.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly compensation based on trade mastery and technical skill level.Comprehensive medical, dental, and life insurance options.Eligibility for company ESOP shares to build long-term personal equity.401k retirement plan available to secure your financial future.Paid time off and observed paid holidays.About UsPierson Concrete Construction Co. is a progressive Northern Colorado company that plans and executes advanced concrete installations.
