Victory Recovery Partners is hiring a per-diem Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Wellness team in Farmingville, NY, as our Wellness Provider.
\n \nThis is an on-site, per-diem position . Travel to multiple sites is required.
\n \nVictory is an outpatient recovery center with Medication Assisted Treatment, Behavioral Health, Wellness, and Psychiatry available under one roof. As our Wellness Provider, you’ll provide all medical services to patients enrolled in our outpatient services, working with our interdisciplinary team on care coordination.
\n \n⭐️ Compensation: $65 / hour ⭐️ Mondays, 8am to 8pm
\n \nResponsibilities
\n→ Conduct comprehensive physical exams as required by our program
\n→ Assess and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, including but not limited to hypertension, diabetes and thyroid disorders
\n→ Order and review lab, radiology and EKG testing
\n→ Place and read PPD (TB skin) tests
\n→ Test, work up and treat Hepatitis C
\n→ Educate patients on healthy habits, including safe sex practices, STD education, smoking cessation and lifestyle changes
\n→ Build rapport with patients and encourage good health and hygiene
\n→ Work with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
\n \nCandidates must have:
\n→ Completion of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
\n→ A valid, unrestricted New York State medical license
\n→ Valid DEA certification
\n→ The ability to travel to multiple sites
